We have an opportunity to take advantage of one or more Government funded schemes to further improve broadband connectivity by installing Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) infrastructure in Watlington. This would alleviate problems associated with ancient copper infrastructure. The schemes award vouchers for residential & business properties on the basis of requiring a ratio of one business being connected to ten residential premises and there is no capital cost that you would incur for the upgrading of the infrastructure*.
The only stipulation is that you agree to commit to upgrade to a minimum 100Mb/s service for twelve months – we estimate the monthly cost in total to be in the region of £35 to £50 plus VAT. Some ISP’s may request a small activation fee.
