As a rural community transport can be tricky if you don't own a car. We are committed to maintaining a regular bus service to Thame and lobbying Oxfordshire County Council and private providers for better services.

Going Forwards Buses Service 137 (Wallingford - Watlington)
A new service operated by Going Forward Buses linking Watlington with Ewelme, RAF Benson and Wallingford commenced on 8th August. This service currently provides two return journeys from Wallingford to Watlington on Tuesdays. (Current timetable is here) It is now proposed that this will be increased to three return trips on each of Monday, Wednesday and Friday subject to approval from the Traffic Commissioners. At Wallingford there are connections to Thames Travel services to Reading, Oxford, Didcot and Henley. The buses also run through as Going Forward Buses service 133 to the rail stations at Cholsey and Goring, for train connections to Pangbourne, Reading, London and Didcot.
T1 (Watlington - Oxford)
Since 23rd July 2017 the T1 has been reduced to a peak time services only running between Watlington and Oxford and with a single off-peak service in each direction. The off-peak service leaves Watlington at 09:20 in the morning and returns from St Aldates in Oxford leaving at 12:35. The Saturday service is a two hourly service from Watlington. Thame Market Day Bus
Market-day bus service to Thame provided by the Oxfordshire Comet. The timetable for the service and more detail about how to use the service is here.
M40 Bus Link, Lewknor
From Lewknor you can catch the Oxford Tube to London or Oxford as well as the airport buses to Heathrow and Gatwick.
Parking arrangements are informal at the bus link. Please ensure you park sensibly and safely and remove any valuables from your vehicle. The area is not well lit so please consider wearing hi-viz clothing when walking to and from your vehicle.

Train travel.
The nearest railway station is Princes Risborough operated by ChilternRailways. Regular services operate to London Marylebone, Aylesbury and Banbury. Haddenham & Thame Parkway is on the same line as Princes Risborough and also operates a regular service to Oxford Parkway.
